  Mediocre Sushi, very slow and very poor service, and sushi that is more expensive than a regular place. We tried displays for somewhere new to go and will not be going back

  I have been going to this location since it opened. It was my favorite place in Goodyear to eat when I moved away to Phoenix a year ago. I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary last night and I was a very unsatisfied. It was not even that busy yet we waited at the bar for 15 minutes and never got a drink because the bartender was too busy chit chatting with customers. I was literally waving my arms at him and not even a glance in my direction. We sat at the teppanyaki table (no drinks yet) and waited another 15 min., finally got a glass of water then another 10 min. for the chef to come out. When he came out he wasn't prepared, he was mumbling half the time and the rest of the time he was speaking Spanish to the other customers. If I wanted a Mexican experience I would have gone to a Mexican restaurant. Finally received an adult beverage. After I was almost done with my drink I asked the waiter to bring me another in a few minutes. He never took me seriously and I waited another 15 min. for my drink. I had to tell the busser boy cleaning the next table over because I couldn't get the chef or our waiters attention. At the end of the meal everyone except us was handed their checks and to-go boxes. We sat there for probably over twenty minutes and everyone else had left the table. We were just sitting there. So I walked up to the front and told the manager I am about to just walk out of here without paying because I never got a check and the whole experience was horrible. He joked and said yeah you probably could and I will go get your waiter. We stood there for another ten minutes and watched the waiter joke with the others. I said forget this place and lets go and walked out. Made it all the way to my car and the waiter finally comes out with my check. I was like finally! He says; well you cant leave without paying. I walked back inside and paid. But let me tell you the Service, the food, nor the embarrassment of having to deal with that was worth the money. I will never go back and I suggest you stay away unless you like being treated like crap.

  We loved this place. People who are haters and give one star are small little people.
  
  With that being said my family had a great meal cooked to perfection and a fun Teppanyaki cook! My kids loved the volcano and fun the cook provided.
  
  Thanks so so much for a great afternoon.
